Discover our First Club membership, your home away from home!

When you become a First Club member, you acquire unrestricted access not only to first class vacationing, but also to a better side of life, and many new friends that will be very happy to see you each time you return.

Our members receive special attention and signature amenities, and each little detail that makes them feel special. The Members Only First Club Lounge is open every morning to offer you a healthy gourmet breakfast. During the day, enjoy the Premium bar, or just a relaxing place to hang out while listening to good music. If you prefer to be out in the sun, go to the exclusive First Club beach area and enjoy the warm sea breeze.

With many options to choose from, our members always have easy access to the different bars and restaurants available around the resorts, so simply enjoy your vacation and leave the rest to us! We can help you plan your stay from the airport pick-up to the best tours and excursions of the area.

Grand Level - Your most desired vacation dreams come true

To meet our most discerning members' growing demands, Grand Level was created to offer the ultimate in luxurious accommodations and the most indulgent member services within our Club. As a Grand Level member you will be assigned the most spacious and elegantly appointed suites, perfectly located within the resorts, with access to a private Pool or Jacuzzi and the Arena Beach Lounge, the private beach area with exclusive bar and staff waiting to be at your beck and call.

The Club Rewards Program started in May 2014, since then our members have generated over 90,000.00 points for their enjoyment.

You can use your points however you want, arrange an airport pickup, pay your travel insurance, book a tour, excursion, or a romantic dinner in advance, have a bottle of champagne waiting for you upon arrival, and much more.

Those are all ingredients of the perfect vacation! In addition to that, you will also be able to use your points towards the payment of your maintenance, reinstatement, upgrade, exchange or all-inclusive fees, plus add a few days and extend your vacation.

Referral Program

It’s a win/win situation!

With the referral program, your friends will have the chance to receive the special treatment you have come to look forward to as a member, and you will earn cash or Rewards Points for inviting them to know more about the Club.

Yacht Club

Another of the exquisite benefits you will get from becoming an Occidental Vacation Club member is enjoying a romantic sunset ride out on the ocean, a friendly gathering or an exciting fishing trip with our Yacht Club, cruising the stunning Caribbean waters of Punta Cana, Aruba or Riviera Maya.

Captained by a team of professionals whose main focus is to provide a fabulous ride, the cruise includes a variety of snacks and beverages, but in our continuous attempt to make your vacation even more memorable, we can arrange any special request you might have, whether it’s a bottle of champagne* accompanied by ocean-fresh chilled shrimp or local marinated octopus a la Cézanne*. All the choices are yours while you escape from it all.

The membership is currently available in Mexico, Aruba, and the Dominican Republic where, aside from surreal beaches and important historical places, you have an endless source of activities to choose from. Riviera Maya, Aruba, and the East Coast of the Dominican Republic are all abundant in the natural beauty that you can enjoy with all your senses. Choose your destination and we’ll take you to any of a dozen secluded beaches, natural parks, or hidden wells, making it a truly unique experience.

As a Founders Club member, you will have a 10% discount on bookings made for your regular week during the anniversary year. In the case, you have already used your week this year the credit will apply for your next owner’s week booking. You just have to request your discount to your customer service agent at the time of booking.

Our agents will be contacting all the clients that have already made a booking this year to issue the corresponding credit. If you do not get a call within the next four weeks, call us directly or advise your concierge upon check-in.

BENEFITS DURING YOUR ANNIVERSARY YEAR

EXTRA OWNERS WEEK

During your anniversary year, the Club will grant you an additional Owners Week, free of maintenance fees. This will allow you to enjoy your vacation for two weeks during the year without having to wait for the 60 days to book a bonus time. We cannot guarantee Club units but will do our best as the privilege is subject to availability, and due to limited inventory, it does not include stays in Aruba. Aruba Founders may use the extra week in any other club property of their choice.

Membership upgrade discount

If during the course of your anniversary year, you decide to upgrade your membership level, let's say from First Club to Grand Level or from a Studio unit to a One-bedroom, you will be able to do so at a 25% discount. This discount must be issued upon purchase of the upgrade, so it is important that you let know the sales agent of your Founders privilege. Have in mind that if the discount is not applied at the time of purchase, the Club will not issue any other sort of credit.

Rate discounts

As a Founders Club member, you will have a 10% discount on bookings made for your regular week during the anniversary year. In the case, you have already used your week this year the credit will apply for your next owner’s week booking. You just have to request your discount to your customer service agent at the time of booking.

Free unit upgrade

On your anniversary year you will receive a category or unit upgrade free of charge depending on your current membership level:

  • Gold, Silver, or Prestige (former Platinum) members will be upgraded to First Club.
  • First Club members you will be upgraded to Grand Level.
  • Grand Level Members will receive a unit upgrade. Grand Level two bedrooms or Penthouse will be granted a 50% discount to Royal Hideaway Playacar.
PERMANENT BENEFITS

An additional week with RCI (every two years)

As Founders Club member, aside from your regular week, every other year you will be awarded one RCI week free of charge. With the additional week, you will have a better chance to book at RCI properties on dates that can be difficult and time-consuming.

Membership upgrade discount

Keep in mind that in order to maximize the available weeks, the Club will not issue an automatic RCI week to you, as you need to contact your customer service agent and request it. Once you have done this, we will deposit the week with RCI, and then you will be able to choose among more than 4,500 properties in their offering.

More points in the Club Rewards program

After 10 years of membership in the Club, members begin to receive the privilege of earning points with each vacation they make, whether it is a payment of category upgrades or unit type or all-inclusive fee.

Founders Club members will begin to accumulate points for any and all reservations made as of January 1 of their anniversary year. The use of the Points Exchange System will be based on the rules and regulations of this program.
